Implants

Dental implants offer one of the most durable restoration options for missing teeth. Dental implants are small titanium posts that we put into your jawbone in place of a natural tooth root. They act as a stable foundation for a toothlike restoration that connects to the top of the implant. Once your implant(s) has fully healed, we’ll attach a dental crown, bridge, or denture to the implant(s).

The implant procedure occurs in phases. The first phase includes images and scans for a guide in which we use to place the implant in the second phase. The primary advantages of an implant guide, also known as a surgical guide, are increased precision, reduced surgery time, and a more minimally invasive procedure, leading to less post-operative pain, swelling, and a faster recovery for the patient. The second phase is the implant surgery. An implant replaces a tooth root, which then fuses with the jawbone to support a crown. After, the implant has fused with the jawbone (defers from case to case), we take images to make the implant crown. In phase four, we place an implant crown which is the final, visible, custom-made tooth replacement that is attached to a dental implant to restore the function and appearance of a missing tooth.
