Payment Options
Dr. Secora and staff are committed to providing the best dental care to our patients and our team will discuss the best payment option to fit your specific needs. We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, HSAs & FSAs, and Care Credit financing for payment. If you use dental insurance, we will gladly discuss your plan’s specific benefits with you here in our office.
CareCredit is different from a regular credit card. Use it to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance, and special financing options are available that you may not be able to get with other cards. Pay for health, and wellness care at over 250,000 enrolled providers across the nation. Once you've applied, you can use it again and again at any location that accepts CareCredit.

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with Secora Family Dentistry, please allow us at least 24 hours notice and we would be happy to change your appointment time.
We always strive to accommodate as many patients as we can each day, and every time slot that we schedule is very important to maintain efficiency. Cancellations inside of 24 hours are typically very difficult for us to re-fill with a different patient, and our staff is still required to be on hand and ready for your treatment. Last minute cancellations effectively block other patients from being able to schedule with us, and use up staff resources.
For these reasons, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will result in a charge of $50.
Thank you for your understanding.
Insurance
This office is In-Network with:
-Humana
-MetLife
-Delta Dental - Premier Status Only - We are only in network for the premier status with Delta Dental, if anything other than premier we will be considered out of network. If it is premier status it will say somewhere on either your insurance card or your original paperwork from your insurance company, or on their website.
In Network: When a dentist is in-network with an insurance company then that dentist must use that insurance companies fee schedule and must discount the difference between our fees and the insurance fees.
Out of Network: When a dentist is out of network all fees will be based on the dental office fees instead of the insurance companies fees. However, the insurance company will pay according to their own fee schedule which can make your co-pay higher than estimated, even when it is estimated that the insurance company will pay 100% of a service. Unfortunately, this is something that we usually won’t know until we have sent and received a claim to your insurance company. Generally, insurance companies allow you to go in and out of network, BUT ALWAYS check with your insurance company to make sure your plan allows you to go in and out of network. If it does not, then they will not pay for any service at the office and the fee will become your sole responsibility.
Just a Reminder - Whether our office is in or out of network with your insurance company: You are responsible for all charges not covered by your insurance. In the event that the insurance company does not pay their estimated portion, you as a patient are financially responsible for all charges whether or not paid by insurance.
At this office we will accept most dental insurance plans as long as your plan allows you to go out of network. Please remember that just because we accept your dental plan does not mean that we are saying that we are In-Network with your dental plan. We are ONLY IN NETWORK with Humana, MetLife and Delta Dental (Premier Status).
